Everything you might want to know before turning a drawing into a personalised keepsake figurine.
What kind of drawings work best?
Any drawing works — simple sketches, detailed illustrations, crayon art. A clear, well-lit photo of a single character on a plain background gives the best digital preview.
How long does it take to get my figurine?
The digital preview is usually within a few minutes. After you approve it, a designer prepares the print-ready model (2–4 business days), then printing takes 3–5 business days and tracked delivery within the Netherlands takes 1–2 business days (Netherlands). In total, expect about 6–11 business days after you approve and pay. These are business-day estimates and depend partly on how quickly you approve each step.
Can I request changes to the preview?
Yes. You get 1 free re-generation of the AI preview before you pay. If it is not quite right, ask for the change and we regenerate it. Beyond that, further changes are available on request.
What size is the figurine?
Each figurine is approximately 8–15 cm tall — final height varies with the proportions of the original drawing. It comes on a small base so it stands on its own.
What material is it made of?
We print in PLA, a plant-based bioplastic, using colour 3D printing: colours follow the drawing, while subtle gradients and very fine detail are simplified. The finish is a lightly textured matte surface where fine print layers may be visible.
Is this suitable for children?
This is a personalised decorative figurine and keepsake. It is not designed, tested or certified as a children's toy and is not intended for play by young children. Keep small or fragile items away from children under 3.
How should I care for it?
Keep it indoors and handle it gently — thin or protruding parts (antennae, tails, outstretched arms) are delicate by nature — this is a decorative object, not a plaything. Dust it with a soft, dry cloth; avoid water, heat and direct sunlight, which can warp the PLA.
Where do you deliver, and how long does shipping take?
We currently deliver within Netherlands only. Every order ships tracked with PostNL, and delivery is included in the price — no separate shipping fee. Once your figurine is printed and packed, delivery takes 1–2 business days (Netherlands).
Is VAT included in the price?
Yes. The price of € 49,95 is the all-in amount you pay: it includes 21% Dutch VAT (btw) and tracked delivery within Netherlands. There are no surprise costs at checkout.
Which payment methods can I use?
You can pay securely with iDEAL or credit/debit card. Payment only happens after a designer has prepared your print-ready model and you have approved it — never before.
Can I cancel or return my order?
Because each figurine is custom-made to your drawing, it falls under the legal exception to the 14-day right of withdrawal for personalised goods, so a made-to-order figurine cannot normally be returned once production has started. You can still cancel free of charge at any point before you approve the print-ready model and pay. Full details are on our shipping & returns page.
What if my figurine arrives damaged or defective?
Please check your figurine on arrival. If it arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and photos, and we will arrange a repair, replacement or refund. See our shipping & returns page for how to report it.
What if I'm not happy with the final product?
We want you to love your figurine. You approve the digital preview and the print-ready model before anything is printed, so there are no surprises. If there is a manufacturing defect, we will put it right — see our shipping & returns page for details.
Do I need the rights to the drawing?
Yes. You must own or have permission to use the drawing you upload. Please only upload original artwork — we cannot reproduce Disney, Pokémon, Marvel or other copyrighted or trademarked characters, brand logos or licensed designs.
What about privacy and children's data?
We use your uploaded drawing only to create and deliver your figurine. We do not use uploaded drawings to train AI models without your separate consent. Read how we handle your data in our privacy policy.
